We organised a 3-day science festival with the participation of primary and secondary school children within derik municipality in mardin province.

During the festival we held 95 workshops for more than 350 children. The workshops included 15 forest explorers, 15 microbiology,15 biomimicry, 15 philosophy , and15 astronomy workshops. With our forest explorers tours the children explored the unique ecosystem of the city. While taking a closer look at nature and living creatures with biomimicry and microbiology workshops, besides explaining dozens of inventions inspired by nature. in the astronomy workshops we saw that our world occupies a smaller space than a grain of sand. At the end in the philosophy workshops we discussed what we experienced during this festival to understand our world!
