Some of the craters on the lunar surface are officially named after famous scientists. 24 of these names are scientists who grew up in the Islamic civilization and shaped the history of science. This device, which is controlled by a digital screen, recognises the 24 famous scientists to the visitor interactively. It shows which craters are named after each scientist. The visitors will select a name of the scientist then detailed information about the selected name will be shown on the digital screen, during that time the mechanical system will be activated to rotate and lighten the relevant crater towards the visitor.
The Moon model has a diameter of 60 cm and is controlled by a 15.6″ touch capacitive screen. It can be produced in different sizes.
