Grandpa And Yellow Village
Grandpa And Yellow Village
A poetic story about how one person can change the destiny of a geography Once shown, once gone… Not far, not near, Between the hills, There was a yellow village. In this village with green gardens, there was a caring and lovely grandfather with a cat. Let’s look at how a village is beautified by tiny steps full of love that grandfather made for our increasingly arid world. Everything becomes beautiful as we love, and difficulties become easier as we love. To make the yellow arid mountains green, the grandfather planted a sapling, the rain clouds watered this sapling, and the birds wandered on the branches of this tree. As the birds wandered, the seeds of the tree scattered, the scattered seeds covered the mountains, and the colour of the mountains changed from yellow to green. It creates ecological awareness and reminds us that taking action is the most basic rule: “If you want to change the world, you have to take action instead of complaining.” Güliz Gerdan describes the role of nature in human life, and the importance of labour in a poetic language.
